DCMS (Dynamically Cast Molding System) Molded PEEK

Tetralene Incorporated has acquired the rights to a proprietary process of manufacturing PEEK resin locally. Our process allows material to be manufactured in a relatively short period of time. Tubes of material range from 2 inches up to 16 inches outside diameter. Cross sections vary from 1/8 inch to 1 ¼ inch, depending upon the diameter, material lengths as short as 6 inches or as long as 25 inches are produced from this process.

Unlike compression and extruded molding processes, our material is void and porosity free. This will eliminate the frustrating discovery of a void or contamination of a billet at the final stages of a manufactured part and the delay of waiting for its replacement. Injection molded material short lengths severely impact the cost of manufactured products. Generally the larger the diameter the shorter the over-all-length of an injection molded billet is. Our process will give you a minimum 6 inch or 25 inch long billet. Additionally we like to refer this process to near-net-shape-molding. Our billets are molded slightly over the OD and under the ID so minimal amounts of material falls to the floor when machining parts from our tubes. Less money on the floor translates to more in your pocket in savings.
