Filled Conventional PTFE and Modified PTFE Compounds offer improved wear and creep resistance, thermal and electrical conductivity over that of its unfilled (virgin) form. With the addition of the fillers basic properties including a low coefficient of friction, wider service temperature rang and excellent chemical resistance are preserved. Compound can be designed to meet specific requirements by adding glass, carbon, graphite, bronze, nickel, stainless steel and molybdenum disulfide.  

• Depending on the filler(s), thermal expansion may be reduced by a factor approaching 5.
• Depending on the filler(s), thermal conductivity may be increased significantly.
• Resistance to creep or deformation under load is increased by a factor of approximately 2.
• Wear resistance can be increased.
• With careful selection of filler, the compound can be to that of most chemicals.
