In keeping with the ultimate goal of customer satisfaction, Tetralene Elastomer, Inc. (TEI) has developed its Perfluoroelastomer (FFKM) Line of Materials. Our FluorTrex E has been specifically formulated for explosive decompression environments, and our FluorTrex
C was developed for applications that require aggressive chemical resistance.
FluorTrex E
Offering the broadest working temperature range and the widest resistance to chemical media, a result of its innovative and unique curing systems, FluorTrex E has been designed for sealing applications at very high temperatures . FluorTrex E can withstand very aggressive conditions, such as almost all chemical species, including hot organic and inorganic acids, alkalis, ketones, esters, alcohols and fuels, with temperatures up to 320o C. We offer this material in a 90 Shore A Durometer.
Some of the unique properties of FluorTrex E are:
Outstanding resistance to very high temperatures;
Very good resistance to aggressive chemicals;
Excellent steam resistance;
Outstanding compression set even at very high temperatures;
Ease of processability.

FluorTrex C
FluorTrex C is a new chemical resistant perfluoroelastomer that has been specifically designed for demanding sealing applications in aggressive chemical environments.. FluorTrex C resists attacks by nearly all-chemical reagents, including organic and inorganic acids, alkalines, ketones, fuels and hot water. The primary uses for these high performance materials are as O-rings, seals, diaphragms and other critical components used in the process industry. We offer this material in both a 75 and 90 Shore A Durometer.
FluorTrex C provides a unique balance of properties, some of which are:
Outstanding resistance to aggressive chemicals;
Outstanding compression set in every condition;
Ease of processability.
