Tetralene, Inc. manufactures custom spring energized seals and complete seal stack solutions for the most demanding sealing applications. Utilizing only the finest quality jacket and spring materials, Tetralene ensures top performance in the most critical service environments.
Materials such as TFMTM , TeflonTM, TetrexTM PEEK, RytonTM , and numerous proprietary materials, are machined in custom and established jacket profiles for specific performance requirements. We utilize primarily ElgiloyTM , and Stainless Steel spring expanders, but can customize just about any expander, based on your service conditions.
Tetralene also offers molded elastomer energized seals from materials such as AflasTM , VitonTM , Fluorosilicone, HNBR, Nitrile and specialty compounds blended to exact customer specifications, through our sister company, Tetralene Elastomer, Inc (TEI). Tetralene Inc. Tec-Pac Seal Testing
Tetralene proprietary blend of thermoplastics and elastomers have been tested in many of the common downhole oilfield fluids. Our test facility is capable of temperatures to 750 o F and pressures to 30,000 psi. The tests conducted are operational tests under pressure and temperature with radial clearance gaps similar to those found under actual operating conditions. The test and seal design programs, as well as new material development are ongoing for our TEC-PACTM seals.
TEC-PACTM Seal Assemblies
Where service conditions require multiple seals, Tetralene designs TEC-PACTM seal assemblies for the application. Seal stack components are manufactured from high performance polymers and elastomers to produce sealing solutions for just about any critical service conditions. Seal combinations are determined based on temperature, chemical compatibility, and temperature requirements.
